By "contact KUbuntu", I did mean the QA or its forum. Obviously, among all the Linux distros out there, Ubuntu is the biggest. > > A bug report, without an explanation of how the installer induced this > outcome, will simply put David on Canonical's "crank" list, and his > future bug reports will be acknowledged and ignored. I like to work with the mainstream(本家 in Japanese, Ubuntu in this case). There is something wrong. Yes. I have a strong feeling that it is a bug but I am not sure. So I encourage him to get help from Ubutun( forum frist, not QA) to kill 2 birds with one stone: 1. Get the OP's problem done ( Of course, with Tlug's help, he can solve his problem) 2. Determine if it is a bug, bring it into attention and get fixed in the next version. At least this is the way I am doing: "Given enough eyeballs, all bugs are shallow". -- Best Regards, Nguyen Hung Vu ( Nguyễn Vũ Hưng ) vuhung16plus{remove}@example.com , YIM: vuhung16 , Skype: vuhung16dg A brief profile: http://www.hn.is.uec.ac.jp/~vuhung/Nguyen.Vu.Hung.html
