Poor Jim, he not only has to help me with *nix, but also English, and
I'm a native speaker. 

However, that's almost Japanese in thought.  Did it not?  Yes, it did
not.  :)

At any rate, the answer is that ArchLinux's xorg.conf created its
xorg.conf the way I wrote it, with that line being flush against the
left margin.
