I've been using 30-61 hsync and 56-76 vertical with success through late xorg 6 and xorg 7.0. I also got somewhat further along with an old ATI card--like Joe, (and Joe, thanks but I didn't get any clues from your file, I fear) I've been going about it rather haphazardly. I should have more to report tonight or tomorrow. Err, have I thanked both Jim and Joe on this? If not, guys please forgive me, and accept my most sincere thanks. > Try specifying to X a generic 1024x768 LCD monitor. My specs have been what I always use--just specifying the Hsync and Vsync. What do you say, Will? Big time danger. Willow: Hey, I eat danger for breakfast. Xander: But, oddly enough, she panics in the face of breakfast foods.
