BTW, you can use "hdparm -I /dev/hd?" to find out if your drives
supports those security features (look for the "^Security:"-Section.
The 3 160Gig disks (Samsung, Maxtor, Seagate) in my server all do,
as does the 120Gig disk in my Desktop.
