Ahem, shouldnt it be Xemacs? and its not emacs, its GNU/emacs. :-)

Yes nobody is forcing Mandrake down anyone's throat. In fact I think its
worth paying for (unless youre setting up any kind of server or a 'real'
workstation).

I tried their latest release and just the OS install beats anything from
the other side. Good for a gaming, test or non-critical WS. The included
kernel is patched to support many other file systems like JFS and XFS.

Some really kewl games, utils and other stuff included as well.
