Doesn't the Velocity 3D use an S3 ViRGE VX? XFree 3.3.1's S3V server is *supposed* to work with that. If you have a Velocity 128, TurboLinux 1.2 will work with that as well, since it has the SuSE Riva128 server. As far as NeoMagic chipsets - the answer I have been giving the people who have asked is, 'Buy Xi Graphics' X Server' :) I'm hoping that XFree86 3.3.2 or 4.0 will support the Neomagic thing... how about it, Chris? -------------------------------------------------- Scott M.
