The original intention was to use this as a replacement for an earlier celeron server running my blog. How stable are these machine after a good cleanup?
Rock solid if a bit noisy at times. I've had a couple that sounded like a box of rocks when running and others that were dead quiet. My late lamented 3.0GHz Northridge box (800Mhz FSB) was silent. However, if you live in an area that has poor wiring and high lightning activity, and your surge protection gets overwhelmed by a direct kit, the box acts as an excellent surge stopper ;-( All in all good value for money IMNSHO
