It isn't specifically vi or vim, it's all of this coding inside coding that's like peeling an onion. And I am still newbie enough to apply the wrong commands or not remember which instructions are used for what and completely fjock things up.
It's much easier to learn when your system is working normally, than when your system won't boot.
Yeah, but fixing stuff that ain't broke doesn't build character.
