Maybe sombody's laptop or Zaurus can be pressed into service with
either a nullmodem lan cable or a wireless.  That requires that
Shannon be able to set  up his box to boot headless, of course, and
would require getting the wireless setup coordinated ahead of time.

Alternatively, the heaviest equipment is the monitor, and our hosts
*do* allow use of a projector.  A USB/wireless mouse and a happy
hacker keyboard aren't that heavy.
