Glad it worked. I will add in that line about sourcing .bash_profile, I
think it worked for me once, then didn't, but I honestly don't remember.
I'll just comment that it might or might not work.

Heh, I bet you're going to laugh when you reread what you
wrote--however, we all know what you meant. That can be changed,
although I never bothered to figure out how. (That is, it can be
changed in kinput2--in scim, there's that scim-setup thingie to change
it if you wish.)
