Sounds like there's been a misunderstanding here.  Interbusiness deserves
_no_ mercy: in their case, routing abuse@ to /dev/null is a precise
business strategy to keep costs low.  On the other hand, the other ISPs
mentioned by Godwin should deserve some, because on the average (I've
had plenty of positive feedback, but surely YMMV) they answer to LARTs
and take action.

BTW, I'm curious to know which Italian networks you filter, if
it's not classified info. :-)

To my knowledge, yes.  Godwin suggested Verio.  I'd add Telefonica
(Spain).
