Hmmm. The ati driver in 4.0.2 should be deriving the timing from the DDC info supplied by the panel. Sounds like your config file is overriding the timings. Blow away all ModeLines and try again ... > I am not impressed with wscons, it seems to have been designed on the > fly by HJL (well, maybe that's going too far...). *snicker* > How do you get NetBSD to recognize other (physical) partitions? I've not discovered how to make NetBSD recognize things beyond its own disklabel, but I have found a workaround: * install mtools * set a drive in mtools.conf using device /dev/rsd0d (or whatever) and the magic "partition=X" directive > What do you need to get XF86 4.x on NetBSD? Requires really nasty kernel-space stuff to properly support it -- i.e., agpart. PI did a linux driver, nothing has yet been forthcoming for *BSD. -- Chris
