...moving right along here (guess everybody's got Saturday evening off for Christmas
shopping...)

uninstalled Samba2.0.0-981204TL.i386.rpm and installed the older
Samba2.0.0-981029TL.i386.rpm with no errors; configured the smb.config file, and up
popped my server on the network...; incompatabilities between
Samba2.0.0-981204TL.i386.rpm and RH5.2??
