If you installed everything, check out /usr/doc/HTML/... something or another, or /usr/doc/HOWTO/... It should already be on your hard drive, along with a bunch of other useful doc's that will be usefull in the future. > The web page said: > To install a ssh crypted "channel", first test your mail server typing : Umm, if the web page has a section on just getting your mail via a 'normal' channel, I'd make sure that works first. If you have netscape mail on the machine your telnetting from, the pop section in the setup is very easy to understand. If not, the mail program pine also handles getting e-mail via pop (and imap?), so try looking into how to setup that. Are you (or anybody else here) really that worried about using an unencryted link to their relatively local mail server? It would seem to me that the weak link would be the server itself, or the outside world. -- Howard ---------------------------------------------------------------- Next Nomikai: 20 November, 19:30 Tengu TokyoEkiMae 03-3275-3691 Next Technical Meeting: 12 December, 12:30 HSBC Securities Office ---------------------------------------------------------------- more info: http://tlug.linux.or.jp Sponsors: PHT, HSBC Securities
