tlug: Quest for e-mail continues

Hello all,
I've finally got my Red Hat manual back from my friend, and it doesn't say
anything about a POP (which i now know stands for Post Office Protocol - if
i learn nothing else i will learn acronyms) being included.
Before i try and install the TurboLinux POP server (you would call it a
server in this case, right?), i would like to try and get the POP server
that SEEMS to be living on my machine to do... well... something.
I seached the Red Hat site, the NAG, and also at Yahoo, and i while i've
found brief descriptions of what POP is, i haven't found anything that
tells me more instructively what to do with it, or about the specific
versions available.
The program in question may be ipop3d, but i'm not sure. Can someone
either give me a URL of a place where i can get proper instructions on this
thing, or tell me something i might type in at my telnet prompt which would
coax more information out of my machine about what POP server this is and
what it's current status is?
	Thanks.
