Re: tlug: Quest for e-mail continues

I installed everything from the CD. If IMAP was on it, shouldn't it already
be installed?
<Thoughts>
	SMTP was hanging out on port 25
	POP was hanging out on port 110
	Is IMAP hanging out on some port?
	Hmmm... must get information on IMAP... must go to Internet
	A search leads me to http://www.imap.org/
	Lots of information....
	Aha! A "search button"
	search for the word "port"... no dice
	search for the word "telnet" .... nada
	Wait! look in Red Hat Manual...
	IMAP... version 4.1BETA...
	But is it installed or not?
	Wait... it says that IMAP is server for _both_ IMAP and POP
	Does that mean i'm already talking to it on port 110?
	The LInux Electronic Mail How To said they were basically the same...
	back to TLUG
</Thoughts>

So, are they the same thing?
