I'm not using a laptop, but have had excellent success with mgetty running on my elderly 20 MHz 386DX. This machine handles incoming fax and data calls, and serves as my IP masquerading router to the 'net. I've been using mgetty with first my Supra 14.4 and now my USR Sportster 28.8. ----------------------------------------------------------------- a word from the sponsor will appear below ----------------------------------------------------------------- The TLUG mailing list is proudly sponsored by TWICS - Japan's First Public-Access Internet System.
