I agree totally. I don't expect Windows/IOS will ever edge their way into the server/work station market. Windows was never intended for that market.
But I like sitting here in my easy chair listening to the news and working on a linux laptop using my favorite desktop interface (o which there are many on Linux) and that is the market Microsoft wants.
