One of my friends is working at Aldgate in Shibuya tomorrow and that place is surely open. Great British fare and craft beers from all over Japan. Location is Shibuya Center-gai. I can reserve if needed, there are a few tables.

Neither picked up the telephone, probably too busy, so I went to Nakameguro in person. They have happy hour from 5pm to 7 pm on Fridays and the place will then be packed, it is a very small pub. So even if we show up at 7 pm they can't guarantee a table.

It started raining and I didn't feel like going all the way to Kanda, but on the way back I passed by a Schmatz very close to Nakameguro station which is fairly large and has a second floor, but they were already closed so I couldn't ask. I will call up Tap x Tap and Schmatz tomorrow and report back.
