Ok!  You've made yourself very clear.  :-)  But I'm with Stephen in
that what Japan has isn't the same.

I suppose if you've never seen "age discrimination" in countries that
are "worse" than Japan, then seeing what happens in Japan makes you
want to lump it all into one category.  But there are differences and
I agree with Stephen that it isn't the same.  Or, put it another way,
there's a lot worse.

Lumping Japan into the same group as the other places also makes the
other places sound better than what they actually are...  Such is the
problem when you classify something into one of two categories.

If you don't like it, then don't seek employment in Japan.  Surely
there are enough positives about Japan that you can focus your energy
on instead?

PS:  IMHO, Japan is improving in this.  I mean, it's either unchanged
or happening at a snail's pace by western standards but at least it
isn't going in reverse.
