Really? Both the subway and some tunnels are really patchy.

Not sure which subway line you take, but I don't have any trouble on the Green line coming down from Islandstorget to Hötorget. I had more issues back when I had Telia, when everyone else on the train also had Telia and were streaming Netflix / Spotify / I shudder to think over the creaking 3G network. :)

The main thing one should be aware of with Tre is that they, unlike
all the other operators, don't have any 2G coverage as a fall-back.

Interesting. I noticed that if you use up your monthly data allotment, you don't fall back to Edge, either. You get proxied to a 3 page where you can buy another couple gigs of data. :)

[Some other carrier has] double the 4G
throughput

Which carrier is that? Telia, Tele2, Telenor (I guess they're just Telia's budget brand, right?), or some other one?

One interesting thing I learned recently is that Tre offers static IPs
as an add-on service. Which is a bit random, but okay.

I'd say that's a bit more than a bit random! ;) Though I guess some people want to use their smartphone to host their blog...

PS: When are we going to get that coffee / beer / whatever? Do you ever go to any meetups? You've got to give me the skinny on Swedish telecoms in person. :)
