wireshark could be installed and used for looking at the dumpfile, yet
interpreting this is an other thing..

Ideas for debugging:
- execute '/sbin/ifconfig' on the machines, watching for interface-
errors etc.
- executing 'ping ip-of-other-host', placing the ip in here of course.
Maybe this already brings up dropped packages, big latencies etc.
- watch the logfiles a bit, i.e. using 'sudo tail -f /var/log/*'
