I do find discussions such as these quite confusing - especially whenthey descend into the realm of the legal. Perhaps this would be a goodtopic for a TLUG presentation?

That's quite different, though -- that's a violation of the GPL.  They
*must* distribute the source to Linux, at nominal cost.
