Thank you for replying.Well, in a way, that is precisely my point. It's impossible to say "This operating system has a TOC of X hours" because there are so many context specific variables.But I don't advise opening that can of worms. Doing it "correctly" is necessarily very case-specific, and making appropriate adjustments to get meaningful statistical results for "average" cases is a job for a specialist.
So there's when someone says "the real reason people don't adopt Linux is because of the TOC", they're either just talking smack, or at best they're just taking their own personal experience and imposing it on everyone else.
Either way, they don't really have much substance to back up what they say.
Would you say that's a fair assessment?
