mmm-mode definitely uses CRs for its own evil purposes. I remember reading somewhere yesterday how it works, and it involved CRs.

Now, of course, Google will not lead me back to wherever I read about this.

But one side-effect of mmm-mode is that it DOSifies my files; when I
finish editing a file with mmm-mode, I have to remember to "sed -i -e
's/\r$//'" it.

Ugh.

Are there any non-shitty ways to enjoy cperl-mode for Mason files? I
can live with the limitations of mmm-mode if I *must*, but JAY-sus!
