Why use Linux when you can use the far superior Mac stuff for that?
I second that opinion. Linux is great for lots of stuff, but video, while certainly possible on Linux, is easier on the Mac with the built-in apps.
New Mac means new fancy hardware. You'll get used to it ... quickly.
Beware: it's addictive.
Very true. I have become a bit of a convert, with my new MacBook Pro. I just wish I had one or two at home.
