I take it this is an interface onto one of a choice of backends...
Sadly I'm in the Perl camp. Looks like Perl programmers are happy
with ugly graphics...

It would do nicely. The Perl bindings are alpha, so I'll bear it in
mind for the future.
Looks like AGG falls at the same level as Cairo.
