because hijacking involves completely different _content_, 
not merely a changed subject (which I often do _within_ 
a thread). 

You picture works better as an example of how mail readers can 
properly show complex threads. Most Gmail users know what 
they are missing, but some do not, so your picture helps 
show them what they are missing.
