At the moment, they are all appearing with the tilde mark. Something I 
just discovered via my experiment last night though - the tilde is 
consistently displaying as "%7E" when converted to plain text within 
Mozilla. Thus a few links from the photo title page end up like this:

So... it's at least partly (wholly?) a Mozilla problem then?
