No problem at all. OpenOffice was made so you can simultaneously install
one version beside another. In fact I've got three versions of it on
this computer right now and I can start up more than one version at the
same time. Remember, OpenOffice was made to be a useful tool. MS-Word
was made to make money for its creator... and the users be d**ned!
