I would also be interested in knowing any updated information about
this.  From what I read the problem was with the lack of support for
packeted writting to ATA drives.  I did not have any problems reading
UDF drives so that is probably something else.

UDF is used on DVD's so I suspect anyone with a DVD player will have no
problems, but as I have not had any problems running UDF disks under
windows 2000 I can't really confirm this.

>From what I understand you lose about 30 meg writting the Table of
Contents every time you finish a session on multisession CD (not exactly
sure on the size).  This is ok if you want to copy several hundred meg
at a time but not if you just want to back up a few files at a time or
use the disk like a large floppy disk.
