Hi I received the email below which looks like it came from USA but purports
to be from Japan.

Is AOL in Japan? Does anyone know how AOL works? Perhaps this mail did
originate in Japan but "appeared" on the internet via a gateway
(64.12.136.7)in the US? The time zone is EDT as well.
