First it sucks out any remaining brain cells you may have.
This is probably a small number, or you wouldn't have signed
up for AOL in the first place.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of their infrastructure was 
in the U.S.  The EDT timestamp is, of course, the location
of the receiving AOL mail server.  It makes no comment on the
location of the sender.
