No, and there won't be, I bet.  As you (IIRC) put it later in the
thread, most people use Word as a glorified typewriter.  People who
need portability beyond print-and-OCR or interoperability beyond
Office are already using Docbook and other SGML/XML-based standards,
and CORBA.  Word is really for making nice one-offs, like your resume,
but really it's not acceptable beyond that.

This is probably false.  Half would lose their jobs, and half would be
rich beyond their wildest dreams.  Given how wild the dreams of
accountants are, it's not surprising they don't consider the upside
worth risking the downside.

However, that doesn't really matter.  There's no way they can stop it
if it's a good idea.  And that's what _I_ like about Open Source.
