Actually didn't even need a reboot, just a network restart. After a restart my default gw gets dropped from the routing list. Inorder to diagnose this problem here's the contents of those files: [root@example.com /root]# cat /etc/sysconfig/network NETWORKING=yes HOSTNAME=dev GATEWAYDEV=10.2.100.91 GATEWAY=10.2.100.91 [root@example.com /root]# cat /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 DEVICE=eth0 BOOTPROTO=none ONBOOT=yes BROADCAST=10.2.255.255 NETWORK=10.2.0.0 NETMASK=255.255.0.0 IPADDR=10.2.100.85 USERCTL=no _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
