Is the newer version much better? If so, I'll Mike> try again to get it working. Hmm. I've never had a problem with building and using Canna (except for the usual "where do the libraries go?" headache with Imake-based installs). Guess I'm just weird, since I've had problems with TeX and Simon says not. :-) I found that the dictionary is substantially improved, the handling of long entries somewhat better, and I seem to recall there were some interface issues with Emacs that were resolved, but that was a long long time ago; they may not be an issue anymore anyway. Everybody on XEmacs who uses Canna uses 3.5b2. Development doesn't seem to be terribly active, I haven't been following the list but it only seems to get about 5-10 posts per month, presumably a lot are user requests for help. But there are some threads. -- University of Tsukuba Tennodai 1-1-1 Tsukuba 305-8573 JAPAN Institute of Policy and Planning Sciences Tel/fax: +81 (298) 53-5091 __________________________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________________________ What are those two straight lines for?
