I knew that, but I had also read about some problems with 21.1.7 on
Linux and didn't want to recommend anything I had not tried yet
myself.

BTW, I also mentioned

    ftp://ftp.xemacs.org/xemacs/aux/Canna32p2.tar.gz

instead of

    ftp://ftp.xemacs.org/xemacs/aux/Canna35b2.tar.gz

because I couldn't get the newer version to work (I compiled from
source). Is the newer version much better? If so, I'll try again to
get it working.
