Well, they make money by selling multiple distributions.  Works for
Microsoft....

TurboLinux at least works hard at getting the environment for their
localized distributions right; I suppose Red Hat will too.  Debian
doesn't do a very good job of this, it's left up to the user.

I certainly prefer Debian, but that doesn't mean the other
distributions don't have their place.
