This site has a list of open source security software: http://www.opensec.net/ I could find no mention of Kerberos - has this been superceded by something else, or is this just an oversight? On the subject of authentication, what hardware options are currently available (in Japan). Things like fingerprint/retina readers, smartcards, etc. Ideally they would work on both Linux and Windows, and be easy to use by non-technical people. URL's of pages in English or Japanese would be very welcome.
