I have installed MUTT and am very impressed with its flexibility. I got it to display GB and Big5 in their respective CXterm windows but - as my luck would have it - couldn't get it to display Japanese in Kterm (pine works but I get occasional mojibake). I set .muttrc so allow 8bit and 8bitmime but that didn't seem to do the trick. I also tried kterm -km with the various charset combinations. I get the feeling that my kterm setup is lacking something but haven't figured out where the problem is yet. Do these symptoms sound familiar to anyone? Also, I am considering giving the Japanized rxvt terminal a try; any suggestions on that or other kterm substitutes would be most welcome. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Next Technical Meeting: August 14 (Sat), 13:00 place: Temple Univ. *** Special guest: Marc Christensen (Salt Lake Linux Users Group) Next Nomikai: September 20 (Fri), 19:30 Tengu TokyoEkiMae 03-3275-3691 ------------------------------------------------------------------- more info: http://www.tlug.gr.jp Sponsor: Global Online Japan
