In linux can you check the status of the CMOS battery? And, can a bad cmos battery be the reason for an unstable date? I find that I am constantly having to go into linuxconf (RH6.0) and reset the date and time as well as the timezone. Maybe I goofed the setup somehow and the timezone doesn't jive? Appreciate any advice, and thanks for the help with the sendmail problems, Eric ------------------------------------------------------------------- Next Technical Meeting: August 14 (Sat), 13:00 place: Temple Univ. *** Special guest: Marc Christensen (Salt Lake Linux Users Group) Next Nomikai: September 20 (Fri), 19:30 Tengu TokyoEkiMae 03-3275-3691 ------------------------------------------------------------------- more info: http://www.tlug.gr.jp Sponsor: Global Online Japan
