tlug: RC5-64 Contest

Borderline advocacy, please reply privately.

The ability to setup teams has been restored on the distributed.net web
site. If anyone is interested in having a TLUG team in the RC5-64
cracking effort, please mail me privately and let me know, and I'll set
one up. I currently have 7 Linux boxes working on this 7 x 24 (4 Intel
and 3 Sparc) \, and will donate my entire store of processed blocks
(over 5000) to the TLUG team to get us started. JLUG and the Japan
FreeBSD Users Group are both in the top 5 overall teams and we could
probably never catch up to them, but I think it would be cool to have
TLUG represented there, if anyone is interested.

You don't need to have a dedicated Internet connection, and cracking
clients are available for all major platforms.

Chris, if we set up a team, what do you think of running an RC5-64
client on the TLUG server?

TIA,
