RE: tlug: sorry to bother you again, partition install

I must say that you folks have convinced me of what I have heard from
Linux-wise acquaintances and on the web: Linux breeds fanaticism. And that's
a good thing. You are all so "on it," and that shows me that I'm doing the
right thing by studying Linux.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I will go ahead and use the notebook as a
DOS study tool for the time being. When I save some more money (I just built
PC #2, and my wife is about to quit her abusive job), I'll either get a
notebook NIC, SCSI adapter/ CD-ROM, or a new notebook. For the time being,
my portable study station can be DOS. Everybody should learn DOS (at least
everyone going into IT), and this Peter Norton book is supposed to be really
great. I have quite a few good Linux books to study with on the home PC's,
like Sobell, Welsh/Kaufman, Hekman, and a couple others, so its just a
matter of time and effort before I can keep up with your conversations.

Thank you again for all the opinions, but most of all for an introduction to
the subculture of Linux devotees. Thank you again. Now, back to lurking on
your list and looking up terms I don't understand...
