I have a Sony VAIO Desktop P166 which came with W95 loaded... When I do a pnpdump it says No boards found... I am sure that I must have some pnp cards on-board. I am trying to find the on-board modem which came with the machine. I have been using an external modem because I haven't been able to find this modem. I am afraid that it might have a wierd IRQ or something which makes it conflict under Linux. I was thinking that it was a Windoze board, but have had several others tell me it shouldn't be. Any help on how to probe for it or what to look for if I open the hood that would clue me in would definitely be appreciated... TIA, Eric S.
