If so, I would > definitely recommend against using that with the TA. yeah, USR has their own extension to the Hayes AT command set, which personally I think *everyone* should use - USR did a really fantastic job, and I love their modems. Unfortunately they don't seem to make a Japanese-ISDN compatible TA. When I get back to the states, though, I'm reinstating the use of my 33.6k analog internal Sportster unless/until I convince my wife to let me get a 128K ISDN, in which case I'll get a USR TA. I'm a bit shocked, though, that either: 1. Nobody else on this list does PPP with an NEC TA? 2. If anyone does, nobody's volunteered their ifcfg/chat/dip scripts yet? -------------------------------------------------- Scott M.
