I use 3Web's 38400 async line (my AIWA TA seems to be unable to talk 57600
async) when the 64000 sync line is busy. I have 'ppp0' and 'ppp1' set up
on my linux box so that ppp0 == sync, ppp1 == async, and I can just
activate whichever one I want. I think I have to modify my ATG11 or ATG1
setting in the TA to change it between sync/async, but my dial scripts
handle it for me.
