Nope, not a ham.  I just got bored with my .sig one day and it occured
to me that I could add a special line, different from everybody
else's. :-)  I had to look the morse code up.  Of course, one was
wrong, and stayed that way for probably 6 months until somebody
pointed out the error of my ways...

As for Scarecrow Repair itself, here's my own little FAQ:

Ever see the 1938 (?) American movie "Wizard of Oz"?  Dorothy was a
farm girl, caught in a tornado, landed in the Land of Oz, met a
scarecrow (who wanted brains), a tin man (who wanted a heart), and a
cowardly lion (who wanted bravery? courage? forget now :-).  Anyway,
they had lots of adventures, and Dorothy fixed the scarecrow by
stuffing his head full of straw.  That's how programmers fix
computers, eh?  We stuff them full of programs to make them smart.
