Hi all, Can anyone tell me why when I boot up Linux I see it set the serial devices twice? First the the devices are set by I believe "isapnp" which is incorrect, then it reads my "rc.serial" file and correctly sets the serial devices. In BSD you can configure the devices during an install, and you don't have to go back later and reconfigure. Is there a file within the "etc" directory or "rc.d"? I know this sounds crazy, but call me a perfectionist, I don't like seeing it configure twice during a boot, I would rather be able to edit what ever file that is causing it to set incorrectly, or do I have to comment out the "isapnp" during boot up?
