You need to authroize yourself to access your Xdisplay.

This can be done from on your pc (melnjf.mel.go.jp) (If that isn7t your
desktop then theres another problem) typing xhost +, or xhost + <cray>

Or, my reccommendation would be:

xauth extract - melnjf.mel.go.jp:0.0 | rsh cray xauth merge - 
then run the rsh with the xterm again.
