Yes. I have installed Linux on Indy R5000. IRIX ELF binary also works on Linux/SGI. They are distributed as rpm packages. They are forcus on -old- SGI hardware such as Indy or Indigo(R3000/4000). See http://www.linux.sgi.com for more details in Linux/SGI project.
